Samsung S23 ULTRA - 8K video testing in Sydney
The new Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra now shoots 8K video in 30p, up from 24p. As you will see in this video, the S23 Ultra is on a tripod but it also does some panning and tilting without missing a beat. On a bright, sunny afternoon on Sydney Harbour the 8K is outstanding for a smartphone.
The field of view is wider too but not quite wide enough to get the tallest building in shot.
Although YouTube may not do it justice, the original files have no banding in the blue sky or artefacts in the water movement.
Overall, this is impressive.
