Shooting Video at Vivid with Samsung S10 5G

Normally I wouldn't even try shooting video of Sydney's annual light festival - Vivid - with a smartphone but given the upgraded camera on the Samsung S10 5G I thought I'd give it a lash.

Usually they look fine on a small screen but get it on a laptop or a 65 inch TV and the video is rubbish.

The final outcome here is pretty good considering how noisy smartphones are in low light - including the S10 5G.

In this case I had to do a bit of work in FCPX to reduce the noise and smooth the motion but I think it's pretty cool.

The video speed has been increased 550%.
